Laksa Leaf (Hot Mint) is not actually mint, but is nicknamed because of its similarity with Vietnamese mint. It has narrow, pointed leaves with dark markings and it is an essential ingredient in most South East Asian dishes such as in the Singapore Laksa. Wash, chop and add these leaves to Thai-style and Vietnamese soups, salads and cold spring rolls. Preserve the freshness by storing it in open plastic bags in the refrigerator for not more than a week.
