These larger spirals are great for pasta salads and bakes. For salads, try adding tuna – the chunky flakes compliment the large grooves in the spirals.
Tomato and Tuna Spirals Bake

Serves: 6
Ingredients
1/4 cup dry white wine
2 x 400g canned tomatoes, undrained and crushed
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp chilli powder
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 leeks, sliced
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
200g fetta cheese, crumbled
425g tuna, drained and mashed
Method
(1) Cook pasta according to directions and drain. Set aside.
(2) Heat oil and butter in a large pan.
(3) Add leeks, garlic and chilli to taste, then cook until leeks are soft.
(4) Heat oregano, tomatoes, wine and tuna. Bring to boil, then simmer for 1-2 minutes.
(5) Blend pasta into tuna mix and spoon into a greased baking dish.
(6) Sprinkle with cheese and bake in a moderately hot oven for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is brown and the pasta is heated through.
